Today - even if we are only at the start of autumn - feels very cool and end-of-season. Perhaps Achiltibuie does not seem the obvious place to go to as the summer leaves these British Isles. But think again... October and November still have enough light for mountain walks and hillside wanders and at the end of the day, there is the cosy sitting room to retire to. Or the very light sunroom. The garden will put on her best autumn colours, and we have a wide range of cookery books to leaf through (and we won't even ask if you cooked any of the recipes!).
